It was convenient to the class I was taking. It was quiet and tucked into a very nice residential area.
The owner of the hotel was the friendliest, most helpful person I have ever met. The hotel is usually managed by family members, who were out of town during our visit. It is a family owned hotel and they work hard to make their guests feel at home. The rooms are large and we had windows on two sides, giving us a nice view of a park behind. It is unique in that there is a community kitchen for those who want to cook a meal. Laundry facilities are also available. Continental breakfast was very nice.
The building is in need of a major update. The common space is dark and the wallpaper is very outdated. The air conditioner in our room broke twice, although I must say they came and worked on it right away both times. It is an ideal facility for young people on a budget.
Everything in that hotel was so bad. Don't worth your money. This is not 3 star hotel it was 0 star
Clean room, comfy beds, nice breakfast, big rooms, quiet. I would stay here again. It is nothing fancy, but just right for the price. Thank you
Just one day we had to call room service, they forgot to make up our room. But they came promptly even at 12:00 midnight
The location was perfect for what we needed. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Like having the kitchenette with friderator and microwave in the room
It was strange - we arrived late, did a self check in and never saw an employee. The room was a little dated and carpet had stains. Vanity showed some age, but overall room was clean and comfortable. Directions to find the place were accurate.
Had the ammenities they claim. Laundry, microwave, refrigerator, fully stocked w/dishes and silver. Check in very quick and simple. Beds were very comfortable. Extra linens available w/o having to ask, as were toiletries which were in a cupboard for access by guests any time. Lighting was good. Clean room, although carpet was stained.
Breakfast was awful! Very stale mini blueberry muffins, hard as a rock, stale mini cinnamon rolls, stale mini bagels. Had to take it back to the room and microwave it in order to make it edible. The Inn Keeper was very nice at check in, but seemed rather stand-offish and cold in the morning, which I could understand had we asked for a lot of extras, but we didn't.
They need to update the exterior and the lobby and hallways. Get rid of he horrible pink wallpaper. The room was nice, but take the cheap looking wood table out, or put a cloth over it.
Loved it and partly chose it to be out of the city but have a nice walking path . Wonderful service , very comfortable room that allowed me to cook and a wonderful breakfast . To be able to get a great massage at a reasonable price in my room where I could just fall asleep afterwards was heaven! They even had books and I had forgotten mine. Will definately return. Owners very nice and friendly.bus stop very close:)
The location was perfect for visiting Boulder and nearby parks and activities. Decent breakfast assortment of drinks, cereals, rolls and fruits. Inroom kitchen facility would be good for budget minded traveller.
The place was a bit worn down and eclectic.
The owner was friendly and even offered us chicken that he was grilling out for his wife and him. It had a bed and breakfast feel about it with the owner living on the site.
The staff was not available during check-in and check-out. We called a phone and got no response so we left without a final billing. There was a strange smell throughout the hotel. The location was way out of Boulder in a small quiet neighborhood. We chose this hotel for the location as it was close to a hot air balloon launch.
That we got a little out of control but it was Halloween and the staff and guests patience was admired :) sorry for being loud in the hotub
We were more than pleasently surprised with everything with Boulder Twin Lakes Inn, from the location to the price. Will definitely recommend it to our friends and family, and use it again ourselves.
Nice big room with enough room for 2 to be comfortable without running over each other. Liked the family atmosphere and variety of breakfast room.
This family-run hotel was a refreshing change from the run-of-the- mill chain hotels. The owner was professional and helpful. Good beds, very quiet, the breakfast was healthy and satisfying. The clientele was friendly. .
The drawbacks were the location, far from downtown and basically no view of the mountains. The bathroom was small, and the decor needs updating.
The place is very old with very little of amenities.
